    • As a client service, Twin Cities Orthopedics submits all of Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics invoices to all insurance carriers.
  • For which carriers is Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics an approved provider?
    • Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics is an approved provider for Medicare, Medical Assistance, Workers' Comp, Vocational Rehabilitation and the majority of insurance carriers, HMO's and PPO's in our service area. For any request we do not have a contractual relationship with, we will submit a payment authorization after client assessment.
  • Does Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics submit prior authorizations?
    • Yes. Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics submits prior authorizations for patients to health plans requiring them, including FEDERAL AND STATE FUNDED PLANS
  • Who do I call with billing questions?
    • Any questions about co-pays, deductibles, and balances should be directed to the Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics office staff.

  • How are Patients referred to Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics?
    • Prosthetic and Orthotic services are by medical referral/prescription. Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics' staff works with physicians, nurses, therapists and other medical team members in delineating what will best benefit the patient. Please contact Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics with any questions you may have concerning referrals in general, or to discuss a specific patient.
  • Does Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics charge a fee for consultation?
    • No. By definition, Prosthetics and Orthotics is a service and product rather than a visit based business. As such, we are pleased to discuss potential solutions with you given your patient's own unique situation. We consider this part of our commitment to the educational process and provide this service at no charge. Our clinicians are dedicated to providing solutions to help patients function, not just products. We welcome the opportunity to discuss options with you.
  • What warranty does Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics provide?
    • All custom fabricated appliances are warranted for materials and workmanship for 90 days after delivery. It is one of the longest warranties in our industry.
